This letter serves to confirm that I had the opportunity to work closely with Mark Steenhoff in my previous role as Head of Human Resources for Africa at ENRC (Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation) Management South Africa Pty Ltd.

The business is a mining organisation with extensive operations in DRC, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia. We had a project were we required critical staffing within a short period of time, for a new operation in the DRC and Mark was able to assist us with this using a retainer based recruitment model.

I do not hesitate to recommend Mark for this type of activity, he has good attention to detail, extensive knowledge of technical positions and he managed the project effectively, with clear communication being utilised throughout the recruitment process. Progress updates were provided on a weekly basis by email and face to face meetings were held often to ensure that all parties were kept up to date. He checked frequently that our expectations were being met by the process and was flexible enough to adapt when things did not go as planned.

Should I have a similar project in future I would have no hesitation to use Mark on a similar basis.
